Terms of Service

1. The fiction. Every case, person, document, recording, institution (including the “Special
Case Directorate”) and the city of Kaalganj are entirely fictional. Nothing sold here is a
real investigation, real evidence, or affiliated with any real police force or government
body. Products are entertainment for ages 16+.
2. Products. Case files are limited, hand-numbered editions (“impressions”). Your impression
number is assigned automatically at payment (prepaid) or dispatch confirmation (COD) in
strict sequence and recorded in our register. Numbers from cancelled pre-dispatch orders
return to the run. Editions marked as limited are never reprinted as new low numbers.
3. Pricing & payment. All prices are in INR and include 5% GST (HSN 9504). Payments are
processed by Razorpay; Cash on Delivery is available subject to order value, quantity, and
serviceability limits shown at checkout. The prepaid reward shown at checkout is a discount,
not a COD surcharge.
4. Drops & early access. Scheduled releases may open early for clearance (waitlist) holders.
Counters shown on the site read real inventory. We do not use fake timers or fake scarcity.
5. Shipping. Via tracked courier (Shiprocket partners) to serviceable Indian pincodes.
Timelines shown are estimates; we chase couriers so you don’t have to.
6. Returns & replacements. Per the Refund & Return Policy page, which is part of these terms.
7. Intellectual property. All case content, characters, documents, audio, and the Kaalganj
universe are our copyright. Personal, non-commercial use only. Community discussion, theory
posts, photos of your kit: welcome and encouraged. Republishing complete exhibits or
audio: not permitted.
8. Spoiler etiquette is a community rule, not a legal one — but accounts that leak sealed
or embargoed material may lose community access.
9. Liability. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you
paid for the product concerned. Nothing limits liability that cannot be limited under the
Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
10. Governing law. India. Courts at [founder to choose: city of registration] have
jurisdiction, without prejudice to consumer-forum rights.
